Microsoft Outlook 2007 Tips and Tricks
From ASysTech

To make sure customers and friends know
how to reach you, share your contact
information with them electronically.
Use Outlook 2007 to create and send
Electronic Business Cards that reflect
the work you do, your personal style,
your company's look, or all of those
things.
Create your own Electronic Business Card
and open it for editing
1. In the Navigation Pane, click
Contacts (or press CTRL+3).
2. Create or open a contact for yourself
(click New at the top of the window to
create a new contact). Tip: If you're
using Microsoft Exchange Server, you can
save yourself a lot of typing when you
create a contact for yourself by using
the Address Book. To do this, press
CTRL+SHIFT+B, find your own entry in the
Global Address List, right-click the
entry there, and click Add to Contacts.
3. At the top of the contact window,
click the Business Card button (it's in
the Options group on the Contact tab).
Control the information in your card
When you enter information in the
contact form, Microsoft® Office Outlook®
2007 puts that information on the
business card. The fields that appear on
the business card are listed in the Edit
Business Card dialog box, under Fields.
You can change which fields are
displayed on your card by adding or
removing them from the Fields list. You
can use labels to distinguish different
fields, such as work and home phone
numbers. To use a label, choose Left or
Right from the list next to the Label
box.
Include your Electronic Business Card in
a message
1. Switch to e-mail by clicking Mail in
the Navigation Pane (or press CTRL+1).
2. Click New to create a new e-mail
message.
3. On the Ribbon, on the Message tab, in
the Include group, click Business Card,
and then click Other Business Cards.
4. Make sure Contacts is selected in the
Look in list. From the list of contacts,
click the one you created for yourself
and click OK.
The business card is added to the end of
the message and a .vcf file is included
in the Attached box.
