Creating
construction documents with
Keynotes is fast and easy!
Here's how it works:
- Keynotes
are inserted into the drawing by selecting from a 16
division CSI format base file. This allows the user quick
and simple notation of drawings. The base file is an ASCII
file which may be edited with a simple text editor like
Windows Notepad.
- The user is
also able to search bywords to obtain a list of keynotes
that meet the search criteria.
- Once the
keynotes are added, users may simply click the legend
generation toolbar button to generate a list of keynotes,
general notes, and their descriptions on the side of their
drawing sheet or any other user selected location.
General Notes
The Keynote Tools and Utilities also allows the user to organize
general typing notes with key numbers so that they can add
explanations or instructions to their drawings faster and
easier; maintaining consistency throughout all their projects.
General notes tags are placed in the same manner keynotes are.
They will be placed in the sheet legend with the keynotes
automatically.

Users can click on one of the above categories to obtain a wide
variety
of specification sections which can be user customized to meet
particular
requirements.

Construction materials are organized by specific sections and
use an
alpha-numeric suffix. This gives the user a wide range of
numbers to utilize.

General notes are organized by key numbers so that users may add
explanations
and instructions to their drawings faster and easier.
Editing
- The editing
tool allows the user to change any keynote tag number,
automatically updating the associated description.
Users have the option to edit a single tag or all of the
similarly numbered
tags in the drawing.
Detail Titles
Condoc® style detail titles can be created very easily with the
title box tool,
using a grid coordinate system.
